The sun was shining on Whalley golf course this Sunday for the Captains Prize Competition for juniors.  32 juniors played in various categories covering all abilities.
The club Captains Bridget Rees and Bruce Craig presented prizes to the winners in a packed clubhouse.
Harrison Jones took the trophy for the 18 holes winner, runner up close behind was Sam Devine.  Sophie Driver came third.
9 holes winner with 24 points and a 2 on his card Charlie Holme!  Runner up Archie Lorrimer followed by William Whitwell who beat his sister in a card play off.
6 holes winner Cooper Baxter, runner up Herbie Oulson-Jenkins with Lucas Robinson coming third.
3 hole competition was won by 6 year old Luke Rushton, Marcus Stringer came 2nd and in 3rd place Izzy Cutting.
Putting champion was Gracie Cutting and Euan Rushton won the Best Chipper award.
