The early threatening clouds never dampened the enthusiasm of the competitors on Lady Captain’s Day, Thursday 30th July. With over 30 ladies playing the Lady Captain, Joan (JTV) Whittaker, hosted a lively Half Way House which saw some mid comp dancing!
In the evening the sun shone until sun set with 48 playing in the Mixed Scramble. This included some Juniors and novice ladies who are very new members, joined as a result of our recent Women In Golf project.
