Presidents Day Success at Whalley Golf Club
Whalley Golf Club enjoyed a fantastic Presidents Day on Sunday, as members turned out in great numbers to support one of the most anticipated events on the club calendar. The day was hosted by Club President John Heap and proved to be a truly memorable occasion, celebrating both the spirit of competition and the strong community within the club.
Despite slightly tough playing conditions, the course was well presented thanks to the hard work and dedication of Lewis and his team. The challenge added an extra edge to the competition, and the atmosphere throughout the day remained superb, with players and supporters alike enjoying the occasion.
The highlight of the event was an outstanding performance from Meechai Shoreman, who posted an impressive nett 67 to claim victory in the Presidents Day competition. With this win, Meechai’s name will now be proudly displayed on the clubhouse honours board, where it will stand for years to come as a testament to his achievement.
Club officials and members were quick to congratulate Meechai on his well-deserved success. His consistent play and composure throughout the round earned him widespread admiration and applause.
A huge well done to Meechai, and sincere thanks to everyone who took part and supported the day. Events like these continue to showcase the welcoming and vibrant spirit at Whalley Golf Club, and members can now look forward to many more enjoyable competitions in the months ahead.
